The Prisoner Rights Information System of Maryland, Inc. (PRISM) is a Maryland-based organization founded in 1996. PRISM is dedicated to offering free legal guidance and support to incarcerated individuals within the Maryland Division of Correction and Patuxent Institution. Our focus includes addressing violations of federal civil rights under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, rectifying improper sentence interpretations, and helping incarcerated individuals navigate procedural hurdles within our court system.
